    The successful candidate will bring to the Innovation Engineering team a combination of the following:

    • Entrepreneurial experience in the technology space (gov’t contracting a plus);
    • Analytic or Data Science experience [DoD/IC preferred; Dept. of State/Ag/FEMA or Law Enforcement]
    • Instructional experience: either in ISD or as a podium instructor (any sector)
    • Systems Design/Integration/Architecture/Engineering/Software Development (any of those)
    • Design Thinking / Lean start up exposure or instruction

    Qualities that are beneficial to the team are as follows: Customer focus, bias for action, frugality, politically savvy, and data driven.


    Required Qualifications:

    • Top Secret/SCI (Active SCI within 2 years; SSBI current within 5 years)
    • BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related engineering, scientific or technical discipline or equivalent experience
    • Development of professional educational materials, including instructor-led course manuals used in customer, partner, and employee training classes.
    • Assist with training, education and program responsibilities to include metrics, strategy, administrative report and review.
    • Experience how technology enables learning and are dedicated to keeping up with innovations, research, theories, technologies, and trends in the education field.
    • Ability to assist in developing policies and performance metrics for curriculum effectiveness
    • Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Experience in rapid prototyping, iterative design, or in other practices that streamline development processes is desired.
    • Analytic or Data Science experience with DOD/IC preferred
    • System Design, Integration, Architecture, Engineering, or Software development
    • Experience in: Innovation mainstreaming model, Design Thinking, Agile Lean Start-up, Business Model Canvas, agile acquisition and market technology analysis,

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience in customer needs assessment, user persona templates, and leveraging of commercial techniques for evaluation of satisfaction measurement/metrics tools
    • Knowledge of the NGA and other IC and DoD IT architectures and mission applications, both ‘As-Is’ and ‘To Be’
    • Customer focus, bias for action, frugality, politically savvy, and data driven.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic/changing environment; open minded
