Responsibilities

Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.

 

The individual selected for this position will provide systems integration support to ensure end-to-end system functionality; this includes, but is not limited to the following:

 

  • Establish procedures for ensuring quality control of data and provide data management oversight for an equities process.
  • Assist the sponsor by providing day-to-day process oversight for a program including the reviewing and standardization of search requests and ensuring they are compliant with sponsor policies.
  • Manage the production of reports, assessments, and briefing related to the equities process.
  • Facilitate technical exchange meetings, capture actions and monitor and report on status.
  • Strong technical writing skills to support drafting, reporting, and compiling monthly status on program activities.
  • Maintain records and project-related decisions; ensure all are appropriately communicated to stakeholdrs.
  • Collaborate between senior level stakeholdrs across various agencies, as required.
  • Assist Sponsor Project Manager in development of documentation-- e.g., Project/Project Management Plan, schedules, etc.
  • Review project documentation for completeness and engineering content, with emphasis on dependencies and interfaces; ensure external dependencies and interfaces are adequately addressed.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Must have customer domain experience.
  • Must have knowledge of customer environment.
  • On-site work experience.
  • Previous project management experience (lifecycle management).
  • Well-versed in systems engineering/integration methodologies.
  • Previous board/meeting management.
  • Previous SI experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Tool Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter.
  • TS/SCI with Poly required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivelant experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of processional experience; or 12 years of professional experience witha related Master's degree. 

 

Desired Skillset:

  • Previous Project Management experience
  • Cyber security experience
  • CISSP, CEH, PMP
  • SharePoint experience

 

Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
