Responsibilities

Perform business process engineering and Government team facilitation.  Business process modeling will include current/future state process modeling, Value Stream Mapping, and use of other Structured Improvement/Lean Six Sigma approaches to assist the Government in operating more efficiently and effectively. The selected candidate will work directly with the Government sponsor and program team to scope, plan, and execute improvement initiatives.  

 

Activities may leverage innovative approaches and will leverage an understanding of program/process/systems requirements.    

  • Leverage industry expertise to perform business process engineering of governance processes
  • Promote data driven decision making with enhanced agility and effectiveness by consolidating management meetings, consolidating and simplifying business artifacts
  • Automating business processes

Qualifications

Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.

Qualifications:

 

In addition to the general requirements of the process engineer, the SOW requires:

 

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, or Accounting or related
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in requirement development and documentation
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and/or certification is a plus.  
  • Relevant experience related to business process definition, process/value stream modeling, and information system schemes.  Experience with MS Visio, iGraphx, or other process modeling tools is a plus. 
  • TS/SCI with Poly required
