1. Provide FSET network support of the CENTRIXS enclaves utilized by the US Navy and coalition partners.
2. Apply Information Awareness (IA) cyber networking protocol knowledge and network security familiarity to support the fleet meeting cyber security and routine configuration fleet demands
3. May support the scope and requirements of all the programs for any Navy C4I issue including Global Command and Control System -Maritime (GCCS-M), Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), Collaboration at Sea (CAS), MDA, Common PC Operating system Environment (COMPOSE), and Host Based Security System (HBSS)/VMWare network/tools, Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS, Integrated Shipboard Network Systems (ISNS), SCI Networks, Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) and advance Ethernet switches, Network hardware to include routers: switches, edge devices, servers, workstations, network e-mail services, file transfers, firewalls, mail servers, Internet Protocol (IP) based networks, Microsoft and other operating system administration, Microsoft Exchange e-mail system administration, Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise Services (CANES) Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), international Maritime Satellite (INMARSAT), Commercial Broadband System and Global Broadcast Service (GBS) and Radio Frequency (RF) systems including: Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS), EHF, UHF, CWSP and DWTS.
Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Minimum of BS in Information Technology (or equivalent technical degree) or 10 years technical experience with Afloat Navy or Marine Corps C4I required. Certification as IAT2 (per DoD Inst 8750.1 and Navy requirements) with appropriate IA certification required, and computing environment certification highly desired. Operating systems can include Cisco, Unix (Linux/Solaris), and/or Windows Server 2012/2016 and Win7/10. VMWare and working knowledge of storage technologies including NetApp and IBM storage highly desired.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with network management and management of CENTRIXS maritime networks, and possess experience in some of the following required: exercise support and implementation CENTRIXS enclaves, providing FSET network support as well as application and enclave specific support, expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office environments; COMPOSE, working knowledge of JADOCS application
•Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) is highly desirable
TS/SCI clearance (TS/SCI eligible personnel will be considered)
