Principal analyst provides analysis of all-source data in a multi-intelligence area to produce executive-level defense reports relevant on a national or global level. Serve as subject matter expert in the intelligence analysis field supporting a DoD customer. Responsible for final review of intelligence reports and prompt delivery to the customer at all levels. Often leads in the research of all-source data and assists other intelligence analysts in the operation and use of intelligence tools. Work as a member of a government and contractor team conducting signal, imagery, and multi-source intelligence analysis. Generally requires Army, Navy, Marine or Air Force Intelligence training and certification. Experience requires expertise of fundamental imagery interpretation skills including basic plotting, map reading, image orientation for stereo viewing, identification of equipment and objects for defense analysis, and marine vessel identification. Knowledge of multiple types of sensing systems, including radar and spectral imagery sources required. Experience and training in one or more areas of; threat analysis, foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, risk and vulnerability assessments, military operations, investigations, technology protection, security, and antiterrorism/force protection are highly desirable.
Conduct advanced analysis of collection and open-source data to profile targets and their activities, and to develop techniques to gain more target information. Apply knowledge of target technologies and expertise with and knowledge of digital networks and the applications to determine how targets communicate, move, operate, and live.
Utilize network modeling tools against metadata collected from communications systems in order to identify, locate, and track targets. Use data from networks of all forms for target development. Provide network analysis recommendations to the customer.
This position will provide SE&I functionality, IC customer domain experience, and integrated mission planning & services integration and engineering to the customer.
Understand and utilize big data sets.
Evaluate and analyze network data that and provide write-ups on findings
Utilize network analysis tools to understand data flows, data paths, and data types
Utilize network modeling tools to test data flows and data paths
Provide overall network analysis suggestions and recommendations to the customer
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related scientific or technical discipline,
TS/SCI Clearance (with a current SSBI favorably adjudicated within the last 5 years)
5+ years of experience with SIGINT, OSINT, or all-source analysis
5 years of experience with using network analytic tools
3 years experience using modeling tools
Advanced level understanding internet protocols, digital telecommunications technologies, and internet routing and the merging packet and circuit switched networks
Network+ or similar certification
Security+ or similar certification
Certified Ethical Hacker certification
Cisco Certified Network Associate certification
Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.
