Responsibilities

Perform Installation and upgrades of server hardware operating systems. Install operating system software and software patches. Support system users; manage administrative user permissions. Support vulnerability management and scans. Implement Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) measures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology or closely related field is preferred, but not mandatory. Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II designation, specialty area System Administration, with expertise level at the Master Level. Minimum 5 years of experience in information assurance (network security; compliance and operational security; threats and vulnerabilities; application, data and host security; access control and identity management; and cryptography) and CompTIA Security+ certification. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (Windows Server 2012/2016 or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Server Infrastructure 2012/2016) or certified training in either.         

 

Knowledgeable in Microsoft SharePoint 2012 and Microsoft SQL 2013 Standard Edition. Working knowledge of server virtualization technologies, vulnerability management, performing upgrades, and troubleshooting complex issues. Ability to communicate orally and in writing at appropriate technical levels for a variety of audiences. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. U.S. citizenship and DoD Secret clearance required.
