Work within a government / contractor team to develop and manage tactical signatures and training system software that is used in the conduct of tactical oceanography and the understanding of platform signature content by fleet personnel. This position will provide software and algorithm testing for developed decision aid software. This SME will also develop and deliver training on utilization of the decision aid software systems to fleet personnel in a train-the-trainer scenario.
Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.
The position requires ten years of fleet operational experience directly related to ASW operations, systems, and theory; or two years education toward a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution in Mathematics, Physics, Acoustics, or Engineering combined with eight years of fleet operational experience directly related to ASW operations, systems, and theory.
